Data Privacy

We take the protection of your sensitive data seriously. We collect only the minimum data necessary and retain it for the minimum time required.

Once your sample is received by Lifecode Gx, it is assigned a barcode and all other identifying information is removed. Your sample is processed solely to generate your reports, which are shared only with your authorised practitioner. All samples are processed in our ISO-certified UK laboratory and completely destroyed after three months. Genotyping data is marked for destruction at five months and fully destroyed by six months.

Your report, your data, and your DNA sample will never be shared with or sold to any third party — and that will never change.
